TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By booking a groom with EmPAWrium Services LTD and signing a client form in store on the day of your dog’s first groom with us, you understand and consent to the below terms and conditions. 

Terms and Conditions Declaration 

Cancellations

You agree to give EmPAWrium at least 48 hours notice if your appointment needs to be cancelled or rescheduled. Failing to do so can result in a cancellation fee up to the full charge of the groom. 

Vaccinations

You agree to submit all relevant evidence of vaccinations. These can be presented to us in store before your dog’s groom, or on the day of your dog’s first groom with us. 

Liability 

You agree that all health and medical conditions will be disclosed to us prior to your appointment. 

EmPAWrium is not liable or to be held responsible for any irritation or side-effects due to pre-existing skin conditions that may be aggravated by the grooming process. 

Staff Safety

We reserve the right to muzzle your dog if it represents a danger to any person or any other dog. 

If we deem a dog too aggressive to be handled, or your dog becomes a danger to itself, we will cancel the groom for the safety of your dog and our staff. 

Please disclose any behaviour or reactivity problems before your appointment. 

No liability will be accepted by EmPAWrium LTD for injury caused by the aggressive or difficult behaviour of your dog. 

Accidents

You agree that EmPAWrium Services LTD will not be held responsible for any small injuries (cuts from clippers e.t.c)  to your dog during the grooming process that are caused by your dog’s disposition i.e wriggling, squirming, thrashing and kicking e.t.c. 

Matting and Neglected Coats

EmPAWrium Services LTD will not be liable for any injuries or discomfort that may occur during or after the grooming process due to the severity of a matted coat. 

You understand that there may be an additional charge for grooming a severely matted coat due to the extra time and care required.

If your dog is severely matted, we will call you for consent to shave your dog down, by agreeing verbally, you are also agreeing to pay the additional charge this will incur. 

Medical & Parasites 

You agree to disclose any medical information that may affect the grooming process or pose risk to other clients, staff and customers. 

Failure to do so can result in your appointment being cancelled. 

You agree that any parasites found on your dog during the grooming process (fleas, ticks e.t.c) will be removed and may incur an extra charge. 

Data Protection 

EmPAWrium Services LTD is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our customers and their pets. We adhere to the UK General Data Protection regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
